hungry/thirsty
hungry/thirsty
Any chance the amount of time between eating and getting hungry could be increased? Seems all I do is eat and drink with a couple rounds of combat in between.

When I reading the description of Yuan-Ti, thats what It sounded like they had to do..just eat a lot at once, and not worry bout it for a long time. Never get implemented?

I have to agree with you guys, my human seems to get thirsty/hungry a lot...but in terms of time, although it is a pain...if you're hungry every 8 min say...that's supposed to be 8 hours of your character's life...and 8hrs in which you work hard (swinging a sword, walking/running for "miles", etc....so I suppose we may be stuck with it. I wonder about yuan-ti, when they were first imped in soj2, the helpfiles did seem to imply that they ate ravenously 1/week...but I've not played one but I'll assume by these comments they operate under the same coding the rest of the races do...every x min will trigger hunger/thirst...*shrug* Just addin' my 2 coppers
While I agree the numbers might be accurate for RL...
This isn't RL!
The eat/drink rates are just too much, imho. Especially in a mud where you're out in the field so often.

Do what I did.
Develop a healthy drinking habit.
I buy dwarven ale by the barrel from MH, and not only does it decrease both hunger and thirst, it's lots of fun to RP a drunken dwarf.
I rarely ever eat; I've bought I think 15 rations and 8 barrels of ale.
I still have two barrels of ale and 5 rations (with a partial) in nearly two days of playing (methinks I'm at 44 or 45 hours).

P.S. Dwarves need a bonus to their combat skills for fighting drunk. I don't trust a dwarf who doesn't get thoroughly soused before fighting
