Spellcast Failure

I think that when u lose chant u shouldnt' forget the spell, because right after u fail it its still fresh in ur mind.

its bad enuff that we can't mem in the room,
and that extra failure thing takes another spell away is just awful Image i think that should get tossed.

Actually I wouldn't mind seeing your idea apply for people lvl 10 and under, that way you won't lose those 2nd circle spells that seem to fail all the time.

At lvl 11+ though, you should deal with it :P

They already made 1st circle !fail.. I don't see any reason for 2nd to be also.

I posted my ideas on this a couple of times but here goes.

Casting depends on skill, but that is silly because it should be no harder for a 6th level to cast a second circle spell than a 41st level to cast a 9th.

Spell fail should be something that works like "OH Damn I failed My spell!"
not as it is "Dont think ill use any second circle spells, i just fail anyhow"
