How about a quest with the reward being a raised cap on a single particular skill?
the quest would have to be god run at least in the latter parts and the player gets to choose which skill cap is raised.
If a warrior completes the quest he can choose to have his bash skill max out at 110 instead of 100, for example
I thought about that for a while and I think it'd be kinda neat.
Unless of course skill data is used as fractions, and then it'd probably screw with stuff.
What do you think?
