Drizzt vs. Aragorn

Okay, in a duel (not a battle to the death because well..its DRIZZT AND ARAGORN) who do you think would win? I personally say Drizzt would win. Not by a wide margin but would still win.

Imho opinion, it depends on who writes the story of their encounter....so its more a fight between R.A. Salvatore and J.R.R. Tolkien, in which case I think I am gonna hafta go with Salvatore....since Tolkien has been dead for years.......

I think they are fairly well balanced, so the fight would last a long time and then at 6AM Drizzt would just be totally

and then ask Aragorn if they could wait for nightfall, but Aragorn is in a hurry and kills him then so he can eat breakfast.

Based on the books, the melee and speed at which the drow ripostes and fights seems significantly faster and superior to Aragorn's.
We need a Sojourn movie to better judge!

Aragorn. He can run for three straight days and fight as if he has no blisters. He'd run circles around Drizzt and wear him out while taunting him.

And then when Drizzt was laying there exhausted beyond reasoning he would catch sight of Legolas and just give up, knowing that if he couldn't keep up with the human he could never hope to compete with the elf.

Bah! Drizzt has taken out demons alone, while Aragorn can barely fight off a few measely wringwraiths... Aragorn would have no chance.

Think of it this way, Drizzt was trained as a warrior until he went renegade and became a ranger. This makes him a dual class warrior/ranger. Aragorn, however, started off as a prince and then became a renegade ranger. This makes him a dual class prince/ranger. And princes are worthless in fights, they just nance about like elves and spray perfume at people!

Bah! Aragorn's only true power is Tolkien, who's dead. And even if he was alive, he'd just spend twenty minutes poetically describing the scenery and Aragorn's face, then probably have someone sing a song... then the Hobbits would need rescuing, so Aragorn would (eventually) go rescue them... thus forfeiting the duel.
