Hey - who do you pray to?

There's a lot of talk about gods these days - who do you follow? When you say your prayers, who do you hope hears them - and who do you fear has heard them instead?

Come, give us more tools to use against you, dear pawns...

Todrael followed Kiaransalee until his transformation to Lichdom. I even have a couple statues of her in a bag somewhere. After becoming a Lich, he does not consider gods worth his time.

I'll actaully have to think about that. Rylan has never chosen a particular deity to worship, but his general beliefs would be that of Tyr, but leaning more towards neutral than lawful.

Here is a good link for Forgotten Realms deities

While giving credence to all of the Elven gods (even Erevan), Corellon and Sehanine are the two primary. Corellon is the father of the Elves and only one capable of granting the powers I have, and Sehanine is the guardian of travels, and more importantly of the elves who pass on. In order to bring them back, one needs her permission.

Beyond that, a solid following of Shevarash, simply because I hold the same feelings toward the Drow. Their evil spreads through the Underdark, fouling all it comes across. The dirt pixies deserve no quarter.

Nilan follows Vhaeraun.

No suprize there, I'm sure.
Lloth and all you spiderkissing followers, look out!!!

This is as good a place as any to post. I need to find a Deity that truly and intensely dislikes Yuan-ti. Preferrably one that specifically hates Yuan-ti as a matter of worship or some such. Much like Shevarash and his drow hating ways.

Possible anyone could help me out with this? Since that'll be the deity I'll worship. :P

Oh, and all rogues and drow should worship Vhaerun just because he's super.

Fear The Black Mask.

by Waelos
The Uber Short Story:

Waelos, the illigitimate son of an affair between a Wildelven hunter and a lesser Grey elven noble, forsake Shevarash in favor of Fenmarel after re-uniting with his Grugach lineage. His abandoning of his first Patron was also done to avoid the sacrifice of a certain assassin who was supposedly 'good' and merely 'persecuted'.

Weylarii, his half sister, has taken up the mantle of rangerhood and seeks to discover the fate of her lost sibling. Her investigations thusfar have lead her to the probable conclusion that Waelos was betrayed and slain. . .or otherwise removed from Faerun. Her patron is Shevarash, whom she fully embraces him as her guide to discovery and vengeance.

My barbarian Rew worships Oghama god of knowledge (rp). He was raised in an orphanage ran by Oghama clerics.

Berronar Truesilver here..defender of the hearth.

by Llaaldara
Llaaldara worships Kiaransalee. Once a feverish follower, she suffered a withdrawl during her initial lichdom, but has once again returned to her devote following of the Revenancer. Llaaldara believes herself a special form of undead created only by her goddess.

Sesexe
The Short:
Sesexe is sponsored by both Talos and Kossuth.

The Long:
Sesexe does not currently ‘worship’ any Forgotten Realms deities in the normal sense, but does commune on occasion with two distinct deities, Talos the Destroyer, and Kossuth the Lord of Flames. The Talassan church considers her more of a living manifestation of one aspect of their god, and as long as she continues pursuing her apocalyptic destiny, Talos allows the misconception to continue. This move has granted the Storm Lord a slight influx of new power, as Drow and other Underdark races have begun to join his priesthood, as well as a growing influx of female worshippers to the otherwise male dominated clergy. When in her presence, the priesthood honors her with the high priestess title ‘Lady of the Storm’ with all accompanying benefits. Her fiery and often destructive nature grants her equal standing within the Kossuthan clergy where she is known as the ‘Dark Inferno.’

Deshana follows Eilistraee, as did her master before her. She believes that at the core the elven races still are the elven race, and sees Eilistraee as a balance point between dark and light, twilight as it were.

Sere worships Shar, and is an avid user of the Shadow Weave.

Silvine Lived as a slave, and on escaping was aided by a surface elf, an old druid. She became a cleric of Eilistraee

Maeli follows Beshaba, hopeing the bad luck takes a detour.

vezasee is a follower of vhearun, although she is pretty much retired.

Kesena, my current character follows no god or goddess, she acknowledges their existence, as only a fool could deny it, but devotes herself to concepts rather than dieties. She sees herself as a neutral party devoting herself to reason, logic and tolerance and feels that devotion to one god biases her against followers of other faiths.

Hmm..

Rihesesassixiz, being an Illithid, worships whatever he feels would give him something good in return. However, not many gods share his desires to conquer the universe. Maanzecorian, being dead (or almost dead), leaves Ilsensine. However he does not wish to worship Ilsensine due to the fact that he could not join with the elder brain upon death.

So he would worship Maanzecorian if it weren't for the fact that he's dead.

Zagaz is a worshipper of Vhaerun, I am part of a small minority of followers who believe that Drow must unite with the surface Elves, and togethor we will rule over the weaker races. I opposes The Spider Queen of course and the virtual enslavement of males by the matriarchs, and I believe we could accomplish much more if we were to unite as a whole, rather than factured Houses, working against ourselves.

The Ilythiiri will take their rightful place as Rulers nonetheless, despite everything against us.

by Clan Blindhammer
Artikerus (is back)

Artikerus used to follow Shimmergloom, the Shadow Dragon who, with the aid of many duergar and other demons from the Plane of Shadow, overthrew Mithril Hall and expelled the Battlehammer clan.

When the Companions of the Hall returned and destroyed Shimmergloom, Artikerus, with what was left of the 'smarter' of his Clan (Those that did not wait for the encroaching armies to come after the spring thaw and further eliminate the Duergar host) escaped to the surface, and eventually, back into the Underdark.

Once in the Underdark, Artikerus laid siege to Gloomhaven and eventually usurped the throne. He was expelled years later when it was found that his priestly powers had waned (for lack of a proper deity) and Clan Blindhammer again took to the surface.

Artikerus returned with a strange artifact he found, and with the knowledge gained from that artifact (that actually controlled an illithid by the name of Ssixxizzirrill, who taught Artikerus the history of the Duergar) Artikerus secretly returned to worshipping Clangeddin.

Duergar and Dwarves once worshipped under one pantheon, until the Duergar were enslaved by the illithids, and, with their minds so warped, lost touch with their deities.

Artikerus still worships Clangeddin, albeit secretly, for even his own clan, even his own brother, Drulokerus, would kill him if it was ever found that he worshipped their arch-enemy cousins deity.

I am a duergar cleric.

I worship Laduguer.

Laduguer loves you. Basically he loves everybody and watch their every move. Laduguer is good. Laduguer is duergar. (I also think he can fly)

There is only a few things it means in my clerical rutines.

1) I only bless duergars
3) I can divine bless groups with 1 or more duergar in. (incl myself)
2) I prefer to get ress from other clerics that beleive in Laduguer.

Yes. good enough.

I intrepret the duergar bible in the broad sense. This is also the intrepretation that leave open that Laduguer can be a pink elephant or a drop of water.
