Heritage Hockey Game
Heritage Hockey Game
Did anyone check this one out? It set an attendance record for the NHL (over 57000 + were in Edmonton). As a Canadian, it was great to see the old stars play again (Gretzky, Coffey, Lafleur, Kurri, Shutt, etc.) and the real NHL game was awesome. I loved seeing the players all bundled up in hats and skimasks. Jose Theodore with the kitted hat over his goalie mask was priceless. I heard the temperture was -20 C, and most players couldn't feel their hands. Trust me, if you even remotely enjoy hockey, and you have a way to check this event out, you won't be sorry!

I sincerely hope so...It reall was quite amazing. It almost made me forget about the current dispute between the players assoc and ownership. For one magical afternoon, it was about The Game and the spirit of comraderie and having a good time... It brought a tear to my eye.
Those who desire to give up Freedom in order to gain Security, will not have, nor do they deserve, either one.
Ski Mask = $5
Hot chocolate=$1.50
Watching Mark Messier play hockey in an Edmonton Oiler jersey while there's a Ranger game on a different channel= Priceless.
