One month from today! I've requested the time off from work. Does that count? Hotel arrangements will likely be the Super 8. I will be flying in on the 4th, but I planned to rent a car, so no worries with pick ups from airport. Mishri is my rl brother and says he's planning on coming. Just wanted to help you with a head count.
I'd give it 3...4 or 5 depending on your route and the time of day. I think 5-6 is rush hour there.

Kansas doesn't have any tolls on I-70, and once you are on the Turnpike, you only stop to get on, then off... I'm not sure where you are coming in from, but either way, to KC is a straight shot. If it is Oklahoma, I'd suggest exiting the turnpike for I-35 at Emporia, it'll save you about 4 bucks and get you to KC about 1/2 hour faster.

Also have some news for you guys.
The apartment complex where Goroz lives has a gathering room of sorts that the residents are allowed to use for free. Apparently it's a decently sized room, complete with TV and a couch and a kitchen. And his apartment complex is near the fast food places and Walmart. The downsides are, we have to be relatively quiet (sucks), no smoking (sucks), if you tend to be the loud obnoxious type when you drink, can't do that (sucks), have to be out by midnight (sucks), and you have to cross the parking lot if you need to use the bathroom because the hall has no bathrooms and you'd have to go to Goroz's house just to pee (sucks).
Personally for me, the downsides far outweigh the good points and I'd rather just cram everyone in my apartment, but it's up to you guys. I have to give advance notice to Goroz's gf so she can get the keys to the place so start the posting and let me know.

hrmm.. 40 mudders stuffed in yer 1 bedroom apartment or a room that we have to be quite, can't smoke, have to be out of my midnite, and have to cross the parking lot to pee... Yea I'm staying with Hei too, told her that from the very beginning:) I plan on flying out Thursday night, and staying until Sunday. I can't finalize flight plans yet because I haven't talked to Gura yet, but thats what I'm hoping for. Okay, this is my last offer. I'm going to be driving from Green Bay to Fort Wayne. I am offering to pick you up if you are within a reasonable vicinity to my path (through Milwaukee and Chicago). I'm probably going to be leaving early in the morning on the 4th. All I ask is for you to chip in part of the gas money. So respond to this thread if you want to carpool.
I tried getting some kind of group rate at the Super 8 Motel in Warsaw because it seems it's everyone's hotel of choice to save people some money. But after speaking to the manager and despite telling him that I'll be arranging for them to get more business than they've ever had at one time, he insisted that because each Super 8 is independently owned and operated and since the Warsaw one is one of the smaller ones, he never does group rates. As far as I know, it's 48 dollars a night so from Friday the 4th to Sunday the 6th, it will cost 144 dollars plus tax. I'm sorry guys, I tried. :(

I got some good points from Teflor of getting a group rate at a hotel that I really didn't think about. I've planned quite a few gaming gatherings before, but people always just stayed with us or left that day, no one ever stayed at a hotel before and I really didn't know how to go about it. Plus it seemed that even if I knew how, too many people just weren't sure if they could come and when they could finalize their plans. I plan on getting mud people together for more gatherings in the future. Maybe I can arrange it better next time :)
