Dear Hollywood...

Postby Sesexe » Wed Feb 02, 2005 4:18 pm

Dear Hollywood,

Please make a computer animated Halo movie based on the Halo prequel book "The Fall of Reach." Furthermore, please have the exceedingly talented folks that did the Final Fantasy movie, and episode 1 of the Animatrix to do it! If at all possible, please get James Cameron involved in this process in some way to bring the story to life.

Dear Hollywood,

Please stop making movie DVD's with advertisements I cannot stop the dvd player on, or hit 'menu' and bypass them, or I will be forced to kill you. This means you Disney.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Dear Hollywood,

Please stop putting "Dolby Sound" markings on DVD's that are not broken up into actual 5.1 or 6.0 surround sound. You're waisting my ear drums.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Dear Hollywood/Japanawood,

Please stop making Japanime DVD's where the default surround system is for the CRAPPY ENGLISH VOICE ACTORS ONLY, but instead make it available also in the ORIGINAL JAPANESE with english subtitles as well (instead of the crappy stereo version you keep doing), or I will be forced to cram a 10 year old VHS tape with better sound up your ass.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Dear Hollywood,

Stop making movie advertisements that make the movies out to be something completely different then what they are, or show actors who are barely in it, and make it appear they are the stars.

Try the next chapter button on your remote. Not an ideal solution, but it does skip ahead.

Sadly(Atleast as far as I recall) that won't work on all of them. One of the most annoying things about DVD imho.

Also should add "Make every DVD with DTS sound"

I had this same problem with one of my porns the other day. Had to sit through a lot of 1-900 adverts and not the skip, fast forward or root menu buttons worked one bit. :-(

But on a happier note, root menu works on all of my daughter's Disney movies...

That's supposed to be the "warm-up" session so you don't cramp up during the main event...If they don't do it this way, people will sue when they get tendonitis or something.
