A Thick Forest of Evergreens
The sunlight falls unevenly through the evergreen trees,
strained through a sieve of spring leaves, dotting the forest
floor like the scattering of raindrops during a winter storm.
The pungent smells of pine and forest brush fill the air,
accompanied by the calls of wild animals and songs of birds,
making this very tranquil. The sounds of forest animals and
bird song can be heard in all directions, indicating just how
full of life this area is. In the soft dirt the tracks of many
woodland creatures can be seen leading off through the surrounding

The Northern Ridge Along a Steep Precipice
Far below lies the southern section of this ancient forest,
separating this northern portion of forest by a thousand foot
vertical wall of rock. The view from this height of the southern
forest is breathtaking. The sounds and smells of the forest fill
your senses, the calls of wild animals and songs of the birds
making this forest very tranquil. The thick carpet-like branches
of the trees form a beautiful natural shelter here from the elements,
and cover the forest floor with a thick layer of pine needles. Tiny
red flowers dot the ground and give the forest a majestic and noble
aura. The northern part of the forest continues in all directions
except the south where a thousand foot wall of rock drops off to
the other section of the ancient forest.

The Edge of a Thick Forest
The tree line of an incredibly dense forest is here, running
north to south separating this part of the forest from its neighbors.
The vegetation here appears to be mostly composed of vines and
thagrasha bushes, which wrap around trees and entwine together to
form an amazingly dense wall. The sounds of forest animals and
bird song can be heard in all directions, indicating just how
full of life this area really is. A section of the incredibly
dense forest to the north, south and east has been cleared away,
probably some time ago, allowing access into it on what looks
like a poor forested trail.

by man. The pungent smells of pine and forest brush fill the air.
The trees composing this forest are of many different varieties,
all packed closely together and blotting out most of the light.
The sounds of many forest animals can be heard calling from

this southern section of the forest from its other half, some
thousand feet above. The forest here is rather stunted and sparse
because the mountain blocks a majority of the sunlight that would
feed this section of the evergreens. The vegetation here appears
to be mostly composed of vines and thagrasha bushes, which wrap
around trees and entwine together to form an amazingly dense wall.
The sounds of forest animals and bird song can be heard in all
directions, indicating just how full of life this area really is.
Travel to the north is inhibited by the mountain cliff which
separates the northern and southern sections of the ancient
forest. The southern forest continues to stretch off towards the
south, east and west from this cluster of trees.

A Carved Out Opening in the Cliff Wall
The walls of the cave are a black stone and floor has
a soft green tint to it. There is a light moss that covers
the walls and sections of the ceiling and radiate an almost
unnoticeable green light. This cave appears to have been
naturally formed and the walls and floor are extremely
smooth, while the ceiling is jagged and cracked. Perhaps a
river once flowed through this section, or this cave may
have been formed by molten rock heaving towards the surface
eons ago. The cave itself is around sixty feet wide and
fifty feet high, with a small opening against the western
wall that leads to a forest of evergreens.

The Marshy Troll Hills
The ground here is wet and marshy, with two foot deep pools spaced
out every five feet or so, making travel very difficult and strenuous.
Tall weeds sprout up everywhere here, some reaching heights of three feet,
accompanied by thick marsh grass and small bushes. A dense fog covers
the terrain, so thick that vision is limited to a five or six foot range
in any direction, making the air wet and unpleasantly cold. Off in the
mists, the shrill sounds of shrieks and groans can be heard, though their
distance and direction cannot be ascertained. An evil permeates the entire
area, and dark shapes can be seen moving everywhere in the fog, enough to
strike fear into the hearts of any mortal man. The hills continue in all
directions from here.

A Thick Forest of Evergreens
The sunlight falls unevenly through the evergreen trees,
strained through a sieve of spring leaves, dotting the forest
floor like the scattering of raindrops during a winter storm.
The pungent smells of pine and forest brush fill the air,
accompanied by the calls of wild animals and songs of birds,
making this very tranquil. The sounds of forest animals and

The Northern Ridge Along a Steep Precipice
Far below lies the southern section of this ancient forest,
separating this northern portion of forest by a thousand foot
vertical wall of rock. The view from this height of the southern
forest is breathtaking. The sounds and smells of the forest fill
your senses, the calls of wild animals and songs of the birds
making this forest very tranquil. The thick carpet-like branches
of the trees form a beautiful natural shelter here from the elements,
and cover the forest floor with a thick layer of pine needles. Tiny
red flowers dot the ground and give the forest a majestic and noble
aura. The northern part of the forest continues in all directions
except the south where a thousand foot wall of rock drops off to
the other section of the ancient forest.

The Edge of a Thick Forest
The tree line of an incredibly dense forest is here, running
north to south separating this part of the forest from its neighbors.
The vegetation here appears to be mostly composed of vines and
thagrasha bushes, which wrap around trees and entwine together to
form an amazingly dense wall. The sounds of forest animals and
bird song can be heard in all directions, indicating just how
full of life this area really is. A section of the incredibly
dense forest to the north, south and east has been cleared away,
probably some time ago, allowing access into it on what looks
like a poor forested trail.

A Thick Forest of Evergreens
The tree line of an incredibly dense forest is here, running
north to south as far as the eye can see. The pungent smells of
pine and forest brush fill the air, accompanied by the calls of
wild animals and bird song, making this forest seem very tranquil.
A family of squirrels can be heard rummaging about through the
canopy in search of a meal. Tiny red flowers dot the ground
and give the forest a majestic and noble aura. Large evergreens
grow too heavily along the east and west of here to allow passage,
but travel is possible to the north and south.

The Scattered Remains of a Thick Forest
A monstrous rock wall runs east and west from here, separating
this southern section of the forest from its other half, some
thousand feet above. The forest here is rather stunted and sparse
because the mountain blocks a majority of the sunlight that would
feed this section of the evergreens. The vegetation here appears
to be mostly composed of vines and thagrasha bushes, which wrap
around trees and entwine together to form an amazingly dense wall.
The sounds of forest animals and bird song can be heard in all
directions, indicating just how full of life this area really is.
Travel to the north is inhibited by the mountain cliff which
separates the northern and southern sections of the ancient
forest. The southern forest continues to stretch off towards the
south, east and west from this cluster of trees.

A Carved Out Opening in the Cliff Wall
The walls of the cave are a black stone and floor has
a soft green tint to it. There is a light moss that covers
the walls and sections of the ceiling and radiate an almost
unnoticeable green light. This cave appears to have been
naturally formed and the walls and floor are extremely
smooth, while the ceiling is jagged and cracked. Perhaps a
river once flowed through this section, or this cave may
have been formed by molten rock heaving towards the surface
eons ago. The cave itself is around sixty feet wide and
fifty feet high, with a small opening against the western
wall that leads to a forest of evergreens.

The Marshy Troll Hills
The ground here is wet and marshy, with two foot deep pools spaced
out every five feet or so, making travel very difficult and strenuous.
Tall weeds sprout up everywhere here, some reaching heights of three feet,
accompanied by thick marsh grass and small bushes. A dense fog covers
the terrain, so thick that vision is limited to a five or six foot range
in any direction, making the air wet and unpleasantly cold. Off in the
mists, the shrill sounds of shrieks and groans can be heard, though their
distance and direction cannot be ascertained. An evil permeates the entire
area, and dark shapes can be seen moving everywhere in the fog, enough to
strike fear into the hearts of any mortal man. The hills continue in all
directions from here.

Even when basing relo on spellcast tele, there should be a min % to be successful of at LEASt 25% or so. 8 or so tries to relo is silly.

i find it easy to think that when the spell was first put in, the original crew decided to find all kinds of ways to punish the player for using it because that's what they liked to do back then.

No one mentioned die rolls on hit chance, did they? If you're going to read something into a statement, then do feel free to be unappreciative of your own "lack of common sense flaming" of yourself.
There are lots of modifiers to almost every action in this game, and the great majority of people don't seem to need a helpfile to be able to either work with them, or around them. I have strong doubts as to whether this is a modifier to relo success at all. While I may be wrong, it just seems awfully premature to start making demands and tossing about slurs before you even know.

I kinda doubt those fails were just from bad die rolls... If you try to relocate to a target that's on noswim water and you dont have a boat or are levitating, I'm pretty sure you get a failed relocate that's indistinguishable from a regular fail. Seeing as how Kaln was in troll hills, he coulda been on the river at the time.

I'm glad you agree that mentioning all modifier rolls is in no way stressing die rolls on hit chance, Teyaha. That would be like mentioning all green, leafy vegetables and having somebody jump up and down because they thought your entire point was only about spinach. I'm guessing you don't like spinach.

No, it's just that his statement was ignorant, you showed the ignorance, he now feels embarassed, and he is doing a very poor job on trying to cover up his mistakes by making a poor attempt at trying to make you look ignorant when there is no ignorance to show. Vengance isn't becoming...especially when done poorly.
