You know what kind of spam really really bugs me?

<rant>
-People not turning off (whether laziness or lack of how-to) their condition triggers in a zone.

-People not turning off (again, either laziness or lack of how-to) their blind triggers off in a zone...GOD I HATE THAT SPAM.

-Prismatic spray in a huge multi-caster fight. I don't like using #gags, I like to know what's going on.

-Using a eq changing macro in a room full of people in a hometown.

-People abusing mmail to set off your spell trigs.

-Having spell out trigs for a spell your class can cast.

-People with death pact/ancestral shield spell out trigs. The caster knows when they're gone, they don't need to be reminded.

-People who have to gsay every little thing their script is doing. Use #say if you're using zMUD, dammit. I don't care if your autobasher is bashing a mob or not, just get the job done.

-"Hidden?" triggers. I only made mine to poke fun at khanjaris. :P You group-say 'What?! Khanjari doesn't proc hide too?!'

-People who post f'ing uncondensed logs without good reason. "tog condensed", "tog condensed high", "tog condensed melee_high", in that order.

-Viagra/Cialis emails.

-Anything that's replied/forwarded and not deleting the original message. For cryin' out loud, use "quote" on the bbs if you must, but delete the unnecessary junk. PLEASE DELETE IMAGES FROM YOUR QUOTE TOO A-HOLE!! For e-mail, you don't need to keep the original message at all. Here's how you do it:

1. Click reply
2. Ctrl-A
3. Press the Delete key.
4. Type your reply. Noob.

-Chain letters sent to you by your wife's mom's friend's sister's uncle-in-law telling you to pray to God for forgiveness if you don't forward the thing to 2342738492 people in the next .3 seconds.

-Thanuk spamming J-E-T-S on OOC. :P

I hate how many ways in yahoo e-mail those jackasses spell penl$, peeniz, etc. that and mor+gage, 1oan, vlagra, ...omg what's so funny is who would take these jerks seriously if they have to resort to 'leet' speak?

I actually like prism spell, I think it is the coolest looking spam in the world. (when players cast it).

I also don't mind that if the rogue asks if hidden then players reply with gsay. Many rogues don't ask anymore anyway.

Those n00bs with:
<Playername> needs to mem 50 sec. UNLESS I ACTUALLY MAKE MY MEDITATE CHECK, THEN IT IS LESS.

<Playername> is much better roleplayer, look at me <-- RP because i sit down and pray to a <godname> now.

5 sets of eq, 1 for hp, 1 for saves, 1 for damage, 1 for nice ansi, 1 for spob. That change eq between all fights om zone.

The "get all" from an item that is equipped, and then the slaughter spam from the 50 scrolls you cant carry etc.

Lamo, non-random triggers players have set up on autosave. Songs are fun, random are fun. But else, just use a command that doesnt exist: like "test". That does the full trick of making you stay in game.

To finish the post optimistic then I think n00bs turn off the spam fairly fast after you have made fun of them.

Typo'd emotes. Blahhhhhhh. If you're going to take the time to set up RP/tick timer emotes, spellcheck 'em for crying out loud.

Wow, none of this stuff bothers. I don't think much bothers me in the way of reading extra text, but I know it drives some crazy. I think death pact triggers used to annoy me, but now I just laugh.

Still, I hate people with long feeblemind triggers (like me).


I suggest to avoid annoyance everyone capitalize all triggers and make it three lines of undecipherable leet speak where you can't identify what mob has been targeted. Enjoy.

- Entitlement complexes. Unless, of course, it has to do with being treated with basic human dignity, then of course everyone is entitled to that.
- Control freaks.
- Expecting me to actually pay attention during ship xp (I'm talking about YOU, Havuc. :D).
- Being unable to decide which alt I want to level to 50 next.
- My second highest alt doesn't have max con notch.
