That's crap if it did get deleted. Utter crap. I've LEFT forums for crap like that happening.
There was nothing wrong with the thread and no reason to delete the freakin HOURS of work people put into writing those posts.
Who's the admin with a bug up their ass that feels the need to go around deleting threads?
I guess we should just sanitize all discussion around here to the most banal and uninteresting crap just so some admin doesn't decide it's too muhc for his delicate forums or something, is that it?

I have a theory. I'll call it the Spontaneous Deletion Theory. It works like this: If three or more of the following six members of the community post in one thread, said thread will self delete per an ingenious script developed by Shev the destoyer. The responsible individuals are Sarvis, Corth, Teflor, Kifle, Arilin, and Birile.
I think from now on that if any of the afore mentioned persons wish to post in a specific thread, they should first check if they will put the thread of the maximum load of asshole. If the thread is at maximum asshole capacity already, one should show restraint and either A) not post in that thread and forget about the topic or B)start a new thread with the same topic starting with a reply to a post in the original thread.
