Well, I've gained like 30 lbs and lost my wind, but I used to be able to pass 8 step songs. Plus, playing DDR is more about torso/hip position than foot position, and a little kid is going to have like 50 lbs to move around compared to an adult's weight.
Still impressive though. Kids of years past had to excersize while chopping wood or whatever, then you had excersize tapes, now you can just play video games...

Look at how far he has to spread his legs to hit two-step notes. You shouldn't compare it to singles since as an adult you barely have to move. You should compare it to doubles since that's essentially how far this kid has to move with his given weight and height. It's comparable. Also, having that kind of coordination and discipline to get that far at the age of 5 is pretty good.

Cirath wrote:Discipline? You make it sound like he mastered the zen art of bad video games. The kid was just rotting brain cells and bouncing around on a sugar high, which is the same thing everyone I know did when they were five. We just had different focuses.
Try being that good at your age. Also, ask a 5 year old kid to practice enough to get that far. Most kids probably wouldn't.

cirath obviously sucks at ddr, i don't think i could do that perfectly without doing it 30 or 40 times first. I can't get a 7 year old to concentrate on jack for 30 minutes let alone achieve such a high degree of perfection.
