I was happy with the DVD release. They got rid of the worst offenses. Luke no longer screams like a little girl when he falls in Bespin, and Greedo and Han seem to shoot at about the same time.
Although...Admiral Ackbar can still be seen "doing the funky chicken" with some Ewoks at the end of Jedi.

Hell, I'm still waiting for a box set of episodes I-III. What gives? I'm guessing the 2nd season of Malcolm in the Middle will be out before it is....*sigh*.

I remember when they released them for the last time _ever_ on 'video'. Knew it was a conspiracy hiding that they planned to release them on DVD after selling a silly version to everyone first! OMG! (btw i'm currently reading a book called conspiracies by Joel Levy which rates different ones, it's pretty funny!)

I am greatly pleased with this news. As far as I'm concerned, the only valid Star Wars movies are the originals. I do have the modified ones at home, but I've not watched them.
