Figured since this is in the other thread, it'd be fun to see what your stats are supposed to be in rl :P

STR 18/75 - I think this part of the test is pretty off..
DEX 17 - Who here juggles 5 items..sheesh :(
CON 16
INT 15 **Note, you can't get 18's in INT or WIS with this test.
WIS 14 Author claims he's going to redo them

Having said all that, the situation has been handled, so this thread is pretty much at an end. -Kossuth

The Int choice was totally dumb. You have people who are brilliant who just haven't had the opportunity to attend school. (No I don't consider myself one of them.) But things other than schooling determine intelligence. The Wisdom questions definately need work too.

Str: 7 (heh.. go figure.. I toss two kids around all day, carry tons of groceries up two flights of stairs and rarely need help opening pickle jars but I'm a 7 cus I had to guess my bench press.)
Dex: 10 (Laugh.. I'll take it)
Con: 9 (shrug, Pobody's nerfect, but I'm working on it)
Int: 13
Wis: 13
Cha: 12

I'm a nice average person. I'll take it!

It's that darned 'gets involved in flame wars' that nailed me =D For those who don't really know me, I've played grand master level in chess since 4th grade. Could come play me at ICC sometime :) Kifle's played me before. Actually, my strength only rocketed cuz having to lift the little guy in his wheelchair - I didn't wanna drop him down any stairs so I started working out with a long time friend/lifter.

I´m forgetful or careless about mundane things (carkeys, appointments, schedules, the name of like the 20th person to say hello to me at a party..), so how does that affect wisdom so much???

Considering that ten is supposed to be human average for all stats, I think that either the test is off, or only the super human among us is taking it.

yeah i just put in my max bench/military press... seemed liked thats what it was asking for.

High con should mean that your body pretty much shrugs off all sorts of poisons (like alcohol) and diseases. The con part i thought made the most sense. The intelligence query was just ulitmately retarded.

I don't know how or why, but these are my stats. The only one I really agree with is the Con. I get sick a lot and my body is just wearing out.

STR: 11 ( OOPS, it was marked as a 15 because I misclicked.... I'm not buff. Still, I don't think this is accurate anymore. I haven't bench pressed anything/one in a long time!)
INT: 13
WIS: 17
DEX: 15
CON: 7 ( Think this one is too high. I'm almost always under the weather :P)
CHR: 18

They base intelligence mainly on schooling, which I agree. But being able to put that I'm working on my 4th degree (PHD) shouldnt mean I'm smarter. I know I'm wiser than most, but not smarter, at all. INT is my big complaint. And yes, STR and CON are correct :P

Yeah, the INT part reminded me of WWII soldiers who were given IQ tests and miserably failed because most of the test questions dealt with definitions of words. Just because one lives in an area where a certain word or words aren't used, only makes one naive/ignorant. I think most IQ tests now are laughable. A good gauge was this test I'd taken a couple years ago. Was just mumbo jumbo. Glob is good, where blob is great, etc. Then they would have you make sentences out of your new goofy words.

Personally, I think the INT section should be based more on intellect questions instead of an actual educational level achieved. I have an IQ of 148 (last I tested), I scored a 28 on my ACT and 1180 on my SAT, graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA (I even slacked off a whole semester my junior year), and I'm currently holding a 3.7 GPA at ITT Tech (while working 60 hrs a week).

When I was in elementary school, they refused to put me in gifted classes because of my terrible behavior. Had they been more intelligent themselves, they would've realized my behavior was a direct result of the complete lack of challenge I found in the schoolwork. My state tests put me at a 12th grade level in most everything except comprehension (8th). I'm not in MENSA, mostly because I'm actually afraid of taking the test and failing.

I found an intelligence score of 13 to be kind of insulting on this test, to say the least. :P

I graduated. That's all that really mattered to me. GPA was a distant distant care. 31 ACT was all I needed to get to college.

I thought in D&D there were limits to total number of points you could have anyhow. Doesn't that work somewhat IRL too? :p You don't see many extremely intelligent bodybuilders with a PHD who can pound down vodka liters :)

Real life doesn't need to be balanced, and there are no rules saying you can't lie on the test, even to yourself.
