R.I.P. to a fellow Torilite

Postby Garal » Tue Mar 25, 2008 4:47 am

Hi, long time since most of you have seen me around in any form, but that's not why I'm posting.

I'm here because my friend Jaime, who many of you have known in the past on Toril/Sojourn/etc as Veldrex, Junith, and others, was killed in an automobile accident this afternoon.

I don't have any details yet on any ways to send condolences or anything of that sort, but I will try to get that info as best as possible.

In the meantime, I would ask that this thread be kept 100% free of any flames, arguments, etc., to properly honor our departed fellow mudder...

Thanks for your time.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss :(
Having said all that, the situation has been handled, so this thread is pretty much at an end. -Kossuth

God, I'm so sorry to hear that. It's funny how you don't hear someone's name for years and years, but you still have memories of them stored away.

Veldrex was indeed a great guy.

I have known Jaime for last 10 years. Even though we never met in real life, I considered him my friend and was planning to attend his wedding in July. My condolence to his family and his fiancee.

I am planning to get information from his roommate so that I can send out a flower for his funeral. I will post here for anyone else that might be interested.

I don't remember him being mean to me so he must have been a very patient and understand person. It's always sad to see a fellow mudder lose his/her life :(.
It will be fixed in Toril 2.0.

That's awful :(

Veldrex seemed to be a great guy and made some of our gaming on this MUD more fun & relaxed.

I'm so sad to hear this. I remember Veldrex being a nice person and quite a capable player. I never met him in rl, but I'm sure he will be missed by a lot of people who cared for him.

I'm really sorry to hear this. Veldrex was a great dude and one of the first people I got hooked up with when I came back to Toril. I'm sad for the loss :(
