Tazrik's Frenzied Hound, Bugged?

Given the description of the spell as a target spell (as opposed to room) in the help files and the new code that went in recently to prevent mistargetting of spells, I was very surprised that this happened:

The spell description says the hound can pick a target in room at random, but the dang hound wasn't even there yet. I hadn't even finished casting the spell when the other mob in the room started whacking at me.

Yes, but the mob saw you were casting an offensive spell, and he figured he would jump you before your spell could possible hit him.

Taz has always been an area/wave spell. Just like similar spells such as the tendril spell that illusionists get. You cast it and it will hit at random any 3 mobs in the roomone at a time. Like any offense area spell it has a chance to make any mob in the room recognize what you are casting and attack you. While the nature of the spell does hinder the use you can get out of it, it has _very_ nice damage for the level you get it at, and helped me alot growing up as young anti.

The help file is wrong for this spell, it should read
area of effect: <room>, not area of effect: <victim>.

I guess the spell is flagged area for the sake of mobs becoming aggro to you, since it has the potential to actually attack them. The reasoning probably goes something like "If you saw someone summoning a vicious hell hound, you'd probably attack them too!"

Anyway, think it's a feature, not a bug..:)
