Not sure exactly what this is supposed to do, but it is so hella rare only saw it once in 2 hours of xp.

A dull witted forest giant misses you with his smash.
You maneuver your mount to avoid a dull witted forest giant's attack!
Your mount kicks out at a dull witted forest giant, flames searing his body at the impact!

Assuming it's just a lil damage or something, either way it's so rare as to be almost nothing. Might wanna up the chance? or tell us what it does =)

Uhh.. isn't that just the proc the new highend mounts have that occasionally goes off when a successful flankblock/charge happens? I assume it just does a little damage and adds a little flair for you mounted classes.

Yeah, its just some flair. Gotta have at least 20 pieces of flair, right? (or was it more than that?) I'd say up the chance too, unless it actually does significant damage. Either way, its fun to see..:)

Edit: Forgot to say, yes its just when you succeed at mountblock, no the mob wasn't fireshielded.

It's not just flair :) Proc is suitably rare just cause I didn't want to give tanking block proc to every high level knight when warriors haveta quest or win muspel invasion shield to get the same :)
