Evils and Humans...together again?
I personally enjoy this change, and I hope it stays, simply for the fact it increases our available pool of players so that we can do more things. And it keeps those dirty paladins and rangers away >:)

was alot of fun. While i like the idea of neutral/evil human grouping, I must say i do not like the idea of a open free for all. I think human evil neutral grouping added not only to the general fighting adventuring in the game but is also realistic from a rplay stand point. Where as a open free for all would not be.

Ithink The human Nuetral race is a good idea. for 2 reasons. #1 it well give the evil pbase a selection from the goodies pbase that they can use in zoning, cause there pbase doesnt always support zoning, #2 humans are said to be the worst race to play, yes we have some human only items....but there not the spectacular. but this gives people to play humans a lil more. :) i myself have some goodies, some humans. and A drow. so this interests me greatly

Assuming the change was good for other reasons (I think that it might be a good change, but only time will tell) then there are other ways to deal with it. It wouldn't be hard for the gods to code spell feedback to take care of these specific situations.

I think its good, a creative way to make humans a nicer race to play and helps evils. Its a bit dubious from an RP perspective to have neutrals grouping with evils I think, evil human would be better. I don't say this just to deny them druids, i don't mind them having druids. With evils having wormhole it doesn't really add much. Maybe neutrals grouping with evils could suffer alignment loss or loss of prestige cause I don't think the rest of the human race would look on it very fondly. An evil human people wouldn't think much of anyway and their prestige would be more fear than respect.

Doom is no longer uber. I can't speak for ultrablast, but given what psis have been posting, I don't think anyone's terribly concerned.

squids were always great in that their best area could be spammed without fear of feedback. adding druids gives them another high level area to use.
It will be fixed in Toril 2.0.

Just want to say I agree. From an RP perspective then you need to be a pretty evil aligned human when you have contact with drow and orcs.
Dunno about the practical stuff, I'm just talking RP.

i'm all for it being restricted to evil humans personally.
the goodies arent the only ones hurt by this.
now that there is really no need to bring an evil chanter along (there are quite a few evil and neutral human chanters) more drow chanters i'm seeing are doing...well nothing.
if you can bring a full grou pof trolls and ogres and snakes and humans and not have to worry about dayblind you will do it! this hurts the dayblinds too.
it is, however, needed.

So far the new code seems to be helping a lot of folks on both evil and goodrace, seems like a good thing to at least trial for some time.
