How almost everything is magic? Damn near everything a character has is magic or has some kind of magic to it.

How could it enhance your stats if it weren't magic? The closest non-magical explanation I could see would be something like a wrist brace you wear for golfing or archery, but that certainly wouldn't improve your stats as much as the stuff we're wearing. Extremely well forged steel weapons might be sharper than average, but that should usually show in the dice damage, such as 4d4 over 3d4.

Magic items do cause cancer if held next to your head for too long, how do you think Dorfs grow such great facial hair? .. Mutated Radiation gene therapy from their magical eq. Then there is that sick facination fetish of dorfs with females and facial hair.. but that's another post entirely.
