compared to other muds

on top and below us on the top mud sites, where do we stand as an overall game. reading their webpages it sounds like they have some really cool stuff going on there. it might just be because ive done a lot, but where's our cool stuff :p

Have you forgotten about the NPPR already? When the other muds get something even close to as cool as that, let me know. Until then, im stickin' with Toril!

We have bugs on our bbs that are unmatched by any other mud!

Ok, I went out and took a look at the top 10 muds (we're 9 atm) and checked out their websites. Imho, those muds are really too "busy", to the point of utter and total confusion. I guess I have always been a fan of the Keep It Simple Stupid. All the new races and classes really mucky up the water so to speak. They may have a lot of code, really great code, but I think they are a bit too convoluted for my tastes.

Yea I went and tried out one of those huge muds once....I left like after an hour....couldnt get any way of a grip on any of it. Just too much.

It's probably because you're use to this MUD. There are some players here who will only be here for life and there are others who will expand.
It will be fixed in Toril 2.0.
