Pets don't listen?
Why do they not stay sitting, resting, or sleep? They randomly just stand right back up.

People who played back in the day would remember a time when it was not this way. And no you did not have to order your pets to stand after a bash. But as I remember, it was due to some squids abusing the ability to force their pets to sleep that this was removed. Instead of just fixing the problem everyone suffers =)
Been a while but I think that is what it was.

Pets regen the same standing or sitting. It's not necessary to have them recline and sleep like a player.
Also, it's BETTER that they auto stand/wake, or else you'd have to order them to do so and give yourself even more order lag.
It's not broke, no need to fix it.
Move along. Nothing to see here.

Not sure that's the case with moves (re: regen) It 'seems' meat pets regen MV faster while forced flat repeatedly, tho this could be wishful thinking on my part. That is, when doing something, even repeated orders, time passes faster than just sitting waiting.
Only other case it'd be nice to keep them on their faces would be incoming dragons - annoying having to hunt for roared pets when they didn't stay on their knees like good slaves.
