So you can't fold now but you can gate out and fold through smoke? Genius.

Hell, I'm just happy that after more than a year of complaining about how easy musph/invasion is that something was done.

Idea: just remove dimensional fold and put in dimensional rift.

i agree with dartan

dimensional rift would add strategy. dimension rift is a spell thats supposed to transport your group from the current room to a private room (within the zone holding pop) and after a certain amount of time dump you back out to the original room. I believe it was modeled after Toddrics artifact rod and transported the entire room mobs/players.

dimensional fold in combination with rogue created huge circumvensions that caused a reworking of how equipment was valued and bought us what? time savings that were lost when the eq was reworked? an ever increasing # of !tele zones solely to eliminate folding? a code change to prevent fold from workign in musphelim?

The code you're referring to was actually designed for a different purpose and subsequently applied to Muspelheim.

There is work in progress for a more elegant solution to the whole issue of fold and such, but I can't promise when I will have it finished I'm afraid.

Wormhole only works on prime, just like moonwell. The only difference is that you can use wormhole in !ground and water rooms.

The solution is initially brought up to Dugmaren when the fold problem first started in MI, is that the giants bring with them some sort of item that makes the zone !tele. When the item is destroyed (ala altar in Bel fight), you can tele through the zone.

Dugmaren and I coded that particular solution, the teleport blocker, but ultimately left it unimplemented as a bandaid solution to a larger problem. The solution to that is what I referred to above.

I like folding in musp, it's a quest zone. !tele during invasion would be neat.
