More MR on equipment please

More MR on equipment please

Currently, MR is too low on many items to be considered worth wearing. I can barely get 6% with my top tier stuff (2 spob items, 1 tia staff), which is 6% damage mitigation off spells. Would it be too much to ask to have MR applied in similar doses as save spell, but only on high end equipment and not as frequent? For example, having 5 MR on tia staff, possible BC amulets etc.
It will be fixed in Toril 2.0.
Aremat group-says 'tanks i highly suggest investing 20 silver in training weapons from cm to cut down on the losing scales to shield'

Does MR stack since it was changed to damage reduction instead of all or nothing? I forget.

wearing 5-10 save spell equals what nearly a 50% reduction in damage...

wearing 5-10% MR equals a 5-10% reduction in damage...

I suppose any little bit counts, but save spell is obviously much better bang for your buck.

Might also consider when MR is applied (before or after save)...

Yeah, but save spell isn't exactly the same once you start hitting higher numbers.

mr was a stupid door to open. and its basically useless as it stands now. remove it from items and distribute the points usefully unless you plan to revamp the system.
