Invokers and spellcast heal

How might a voker notch spellcast heal, and if its not notchable since we have no spells, why do we have the ability?

You have the ability because it's easier for you to already have the ability if some day down the road invokers get a spell that requires it, than it is to restructure the class to give them the ability later. You may never need it, but if you do, it's already in place.

And you can notch by observing others cast spells in that school...

That's spell knowledge you can notch by watching not spellcast skills.
