Something better to do?

Postby loshaenar » Wed Mar 21, 2007 5:23 am

Not to point any fingers people... but wtf? Does it really hurt the ozone layer to reboot the machine once in a while? i'm really glad everyone is so excited about 2.0. Really. But when we get to the point that the mud clock hits 120.0 ....please.. I don't want much in life..i don't need pictures to make my 1 vice more interesting... and i'm certainly not here 99% of the time when you reboot the machine for those of you living in the U.S.

Is it too much to ask? I know whenever Tai starts a new quest it's gonna take me ten times as long as the rock-steadys who live here..that's fine. I just don't feel it's neccessary to stick the boot in even further.

Barring any action on this, how bout we up all quest rewards as a reflection of the absolutely ridiculous amount of time it's going to take people to collect the rares neccessary?

less beer, more Whine.

Or make quest-related rares spawn on a regular basis, independent on reboots.

Rareloads were a poor substitute for a lack of creativity.

For that matter, why quest for months at a time when you can just spend a morning and an afternoon on Tiamat for equipment that blows all quest equipment away?
Teflor does. Teflor does not.

If the uptime really got that high, my apologies. We try to keep the uptimes reasonable, but every once in awhile it creeps up without us noticing.

Hey, at least its stable! :)

How can you judge stability when no one is playing?
Danahg tells you 'yeah, luckily i kept most of it in my mouth and nasal membranes, ugh'

Shev,

If you posted your apologies about the insanely high uptime and then proceeded to NOT reboot the system, what does that say about your apology?

With all due respect, but... honestly...

I logged on to reboot as soon as I got home and it had an uptime of 20 minutes.

Sorry - got home later than expected last night.
