What's wrong is a level 48 pally attacking a cricket! Then again I suppose the chirping can get pretty darn annoying...

Using a 2h sword to kill a cricket is about like taking a M1A1 to a gunfight.

Sadly, it won't.
Much like my backstab skill being max, and not to mention having the first maxdex notch, I can still miss backstabs on blind, para'd mob.
Same crap. Having max skill doesn't mean it'll stop.

They way I used to play tabletop DnD was that on to hit rolls, if you rolled a "1" on a d20 it was a miss no matter what. That's the case cept in situations when you sneak up on a sleeping victim and slice his throat or when you try and hit an immobile object.
Seems to me like you have had crappy die rolls.
But that's just that way I see it.

No, Zoldren & Arilin are right. And I'll even go one step further: check out next time a bard is singing haste, and you have 58 hit or higher. It doesn't matter, you'll still miss alot. I think the way the code was done, hitroll doesn't really work the way it should really work. Just like with skills in general, having 99 in something doesn't mean it'll work 99% of the time, like it should. Having 99 kick is the same as having 40 kick, etc.
But it's okay, 2.0 will fix that.

I know what your saying Grum, But , in DnD you roll 1 dice per attack, with 2 attacks / round. whats the odds of rolling 1's for both attacks in that round, multiple times during the fight?

Fairly likely to happen once if you're having a long session with lots of combat.
Teflor does. Teflor does not.
