Tiamat arrow

Just currious bout this arrow, its 0/0 arrow with a proc on it so anything missile shielded wont even get hit by it. This is a single arrow rareload in tiamat zone as a reward for it.

Any chance this arrow might get some loving, at least on par with 5/5 farmable arrow =) Thanks...

Don't do it! Malia has been farming these arrows and had 5 of them now! :p

It has a proc on it, so i bet it has hit/dam. Coder just didn't put the stats in the text.
It will be fixed in Toril 2.0.

could always test it on a shielded mob and see if it breaks :)

Its been a year since orginal post... any chance it can get looked at again?

Suggestions making it 6/6, float, !burn too.

Ok did some testing with 6 arrows so 2 rounds of tia arrows a fight...


on average we got 1 proc per 9 arrows fired, occasionaly more, occasionaly less but that was bout average... means you have to win in Tiamat 9x to hope to get 1 proc a fight firring 9 arrows at start of a fight.

Given a normal weapon proc you get lot more chances because you dont lose the item your fighting with, you keep attacking with it, but arrow goes away after firring you get 1 shot with it, thats it per fight.

Also we broke the arrow a few times... boggle this is a tiamat arrow... it shouldnt break =)

Suggestions:
1) float -losing it to water room would suck
2) !burn - losing it burn would be silly too its been in the deapths of hell in tiamats lair already
3) up the % chance to proc id say 50% chance so 1 in 2 arrows should proc, seems like damage on proc is ok.
4) make the arrow at least 5hit/whatever damage so that it goes through missile shields, a 0/0 arrow is silly being from tiamat
5) dice is currently 3d6, basicly a shop arrow up it to 4d6 or 5d6
6) Make the arrow !break please too =)

3) Sounds reasonable. Will do some more more investigating.
4) Updated to 5/5 in the same update as #1 and #2.

6) I think it's going to stay breakable. It's not meant to be a top-tier perma-proc arrow, but a limited consumable. I'll talk to Dug some about it in any case.

Yeah great idea... since 0/0 has no effect on dragons it wont ever hit... sweet glad someone thought that out =)
