Leveling from 36-46

Postby Dalar » Fri Apr 17, 2009 7:04 pm

What's the best way to level through these levels? Leveling is such a pita. Talking about a 37 druid atm.
It will be fixed in Toril 2.0.

definitely the worst levels to xp :(

I did those pansy lesser elves in ds that only trip ...took forever. that range for levels is the absolute worst cuz mobs hit the -100 ac and you don't have much offense for 8th/9th circle for any class really.

Boo!

Yea, that's my main problem. My offense sucks and my defense isn't enough to make me not hittable. I tried DS, too slow.

I don't remember how I did this as Dartan. I do remember all the melee in DSR being lvl 50 pretty quick and leveling on WD elites with Kalthanan duoing.

Leveling as a druid seems to blow at this point. My damage is crap compared to someone with a decent damroll at this level.

My advice is you group with damage.

In another thread you complain about grouping is not encuraged, but your low damage is the main reason you should group with someone.

I think for druid a voker is better to group with than a rogue, mainly because you don't have haste.

@ Duggy:

AV runs fully out of steam by lvl 36. Fun, yet so potentially spankytastic

2-man DS xp with a good near lvl 50 warrior in TANK gear using sticks to snakes for damage and heal the tank as needed, works great

Yea, but how many people have access to a level 50 tank to do their bidding? Are you going to help every different class/person?

I still say melee is prolly best way to lvl any class, last shaman i lvled i was ac -100 46/46 and didnt really use the spirit to tank, and lvled rather quickly at least to 46 zoning lvl. Melee exp > all.

the hit/dam ac eq is all rather easily atainable too, daggers earrings, turquoise rings, sg gauntlets dolomite armplates, ect...
