Labels for bags

It would be really useful if one could attach a label to a bag (or a box). Nice if this were just displayed, even nicer if it would become one of the keywords.

Would help for example with keeping quest items in order on those long quests: label bag "Ice Bear Boots" or label bag Trollbark.

You are carrying:
a bag labeled Ice Bear Boots
a bag of snatching labeled Trollbark

Labeling a labeled bag would change the label
label bag "" to remove a label

please, being able to give your bags unique identifiers would be damn nice.

if its convenient be nice if you could extend this to all items in your posession.

Maybe not necessarily for all items, but it would be really nice for bags and spellbooks.

i have more robes and earrings in my bags than spellbooks. it would be useful on all eq

doing it for bags would alleviate some of the need for naming other eq.

Actually, I can see why you'd need it for books... for backup set 1, backup set 2, etc. You could just get a bunch of backpacks at the general store and drop a backup set of books in each backpack, then dump all the backpacks in your storage, though. That way when you 'storage retrieve backpack' you can pull out only one set of books.

I can't count the number of times I've accidentally mixed up my backup sets and had to spend time figuring out which book goes with which.

those long painful crs are why labels are nice.
i've had 5 sets on me, most of them the same GC sturdies.
so 12 sturdies if i am not VERY careful about how i package them between looting.

thats a hell of a mess to sort.

i agree it would be super nice on books.

For me personally having it impd on earrings would be more useful than on books.... Should just plan on doing it for all items.

imagine having just one label 'heal' on all 142351426 kinds of heal potions in your bag..
that would so rock
