Offense Defense

Instead of having the skill as a standalone offense/defense that only warrior/rogue can benefit from mostly, would like
to share the following as a suggestion on how all classes could enjoy from having slightly different offense and defense

What i have below is just for offense... defence could be stacked in similar skill tiers.

Offense - Epic: Warrior class level 50 only
Some skills that could be suggested
-Epic chance to hit (+5 to hit)
-Epic critical (4 chance in 20 to land a critical) (stackable with
various races str crit %)
-3rd attack
-Crippling strike, prevents mob from any action ... very low
succcess %, but long duration

Offense - Expert: Warrior class level > 40, Rogue class level 50 only
-Better chance to hit (+4 to hit)
-Dirt kicking to blind opponent, high success rate but very short
duration
-selected weapon specialization become advanced weapon
specialization

Offense - Advanced: Warrior class level > 30, Rogue class level > 40, Priest class level 50 only
Better chance to hit (+3 to hit)
2nd attack

Offense - Intermediate: Warrior class level > 20, Rogue class level > 30, Priest class level > 40, Mage class level 50 only
Better chance to hit (+2 to hit)
Improved critical (2 chance in 20 to land a critical)
weapon specialization in 1 type of weapon

Offense - Basic: Warrior class level 1, Rogue class level 10, Priest class level 10, Mage class level 20
Better chance to hit (+1 to hit)

Just some thoughts

what no rangers.. rangers should totaly get more offense combat bonus than a warrior.
i dont know what your problem is, but i bet its hard to pronounce

I did not say warrior only...

I said warrior class... That would include paladin/ anti/ rangers/ dires

i just think that rangers "being the mastersof dual wield combat" would be able to do more than the average warrior.
i dont know what your problem is, but i bet its hard to pronounce

Is this idea only meant for players? or also for mobs?

I would imagine it would only be fair if it applies to mob as well

But then we have only talked about offense... not defense yet

Not related to this topic but close enough, does anyone know why offense for warriors maxes at 99, and defense maxes at 90? Makes no sense to me.

Because if our defense capped at 99, we would almost never get hit. It's my understanding that defense itself is an amplification medium of all defense skills. I might be wrong, as I'm not a coder.

What are you comparing a warrior defense of 90 too? to maximum possible of 99? That doesn't make any sense.

If you want to complain about defense maxing at 90 show how it is wrong relative to some other class, like why is warr defense capped at 90 when its capped at 99 for rangers.

So Amolol WAS right. He COULD outtank warriors :p

I was comparing it to the fact that we get 99 offense, not being primary damage dealers. But we get 90 defense, when we are primary damage takers.
