Sow as playing around today and got an idea for a new song.

Targeted Sleep Song. Can be called Someones Lullaby or something.

How long would the sleep effect last? Until you quit singing it?

Also, would it work if the mob was under attack?

Song of Slumber? Didn't that used to exist? I know there used to be a Song of Charming that was removed anyways..

Classic fairytale! I think it would be good with a way to balance it against high end single mobs. You would have to make ancient dragons immune or have a very high save on it for instance. I definately think a non magical sleep would be best if it is like a spell effect. Sleep spell like that would be pretty powerful. What might be fun is if you have a targetted or area version like some other songs, targetted could have a chance to effect mobs lvl 45+. Area could just have a spell effect with a normal save per verse, of a less powerful version of the sleep spell. And one that ends when the song stops, ala harry potter and a bazillion good stories!

Song of sleep

I miss song of charm... watching Kobei charm the damn ducks from what is now the roc pond and sending them on the elites in WD.... Man that was fun!

I've thought for awhile that bards/bchanters should get either a song or spell to charm. There should be many restrictions, or they'd very quickly become sillily overpowered, but something...

I like the idea of a song of sleep or slumber or somesuch.
