Command delays

I really would like to see certain commands exempt from delay lag caused by using skills/spells and other such things. In particular, commands that are either OOC in nature (such as who, score, report) or that shouldn't realistically be hindered by actions (look, say, inventory etc.)

Another MUD that I play has this and it's very convenient (and realistic, but that's not a big concern since this isn't an RPIMUD), and I believe it would make certain things less stressful and annoying, especially combat.

I always wondered about that. Seems the lag here is a blanket 'pause' for fixed time. Yeah, since it does say you can't headbutt or bash quite yet, but other commands still work, I imagine this could be fixed.

I just posted about this on another thread actually before looking at this one.

Couldn't agree more. How did I describe it on my other post? Unappealing, and unasthetic to gameplay? Something like that. :)
