I'll try not to give away quest info. Thus this little vague post.
Somewhere in the world is a mob you begin gate quest at.
When you quest the mob he says goodbye or something, and then he is gone for the rest of the boot.
I think he should come back, mabye like a rare chance pr. pop or something, with the uptimes we have it is annoying.
Especially because there sometimes is a queue at that place.

Defintely fixed in Toril 2.0 or in the next bandaid fixes imo. Shevarash did say this is kind of annoying and may fix it. Also..
