Primary Wielding for Small Races

Postby Thilindel » Sat Apr 05, 2008 5:47 am

Is it feasible to remove the weight check for small races when wielding heavier two-handed or larger one-handed weapons for their primary?

The small races are limited on what they can wield, like big 2h hammers, and the other relatively heavy 1h weapons. My point is that an ogre can wear a halfling's armor, pants, sleeves, and so forth. So could we have more streamlined or not at all? Such as ogres can only wear ogre only, given their dimensions. Or 1h (primary) weapons wouldn't get a weight check for smaller races. Secondary weapons, sure they need a limit - given that's the bonus of a stronger race. Such as a human ranger off-handing a sword that an elf couldn't off-hand.

But for primary weapon, it doesn't seem to make sense that small races are limited, whereas large races can switch rings, belts, and anything else w/o dimension being an issue.
