My friend, who is now in the Air Force, was saying, 'Wouldn't it be cool if you could practice up to level 4 spells from another class?' (After one hits level 50, I'd assume)
I guess he'd mean that a cleric would, for shits n grins, learn shaman or druid spells up to level four - if there were a quest, or substantial 10 or 100x multiplier for cost; hell, I'd be happy with this being put in with just level 3 spells even. Thought I'd throw this out there.. Initially, for elementalist cross-over, I can see someone complaining about summon elemental kin, but pretty much any D&D mage could have a familiar. Also, necro pets would be a default, 'NO'

1st circle: detect invisibility, detect magic, magic missile,
