Ust Circle - East
Oily purplish creepers encroach upon the dirt path here, their greasy
leaves patterned with shades of red and green. The noisy sounds of a nearby
tavern drift through the silence here, and the faintly sour smell of cooking
rothe meat emanates from some distant kitchen. The trail slopes slightly
upwards here, and passes right through a hollowed out redwood trunk to the
south. Wispy tendrils of fog snake in between the boughs of the forest
trees at night and early morning, giving the area an even gloomier feeling.
As in the rest of the city, the magically sustained darkness is complete
here, other than the occassional flash of a lightning bolt, or a blast of
faerie fire. The trail continues to the south and north, running along the
eastern half of the Ust circle, parrallel to the city wall.
