putting stringlists into macros

I have a list

@vitlist = {spirit|Uskael|me}

then I want a command (vitdriver) that takes this list and puts it into
F1 + F2 +F3

It should overwrite the current macros (no warning)
and assume there is less than 12 in list.

Basically it is just the step of making the macros based on a list that is
interesting.

If it is possible to have F2 always be number 2 in a given stringlist then that would also solve the problem.
