AFK like its 1999!

Postby bimble » Sat Nov 20, 2004 6:27 pm

Okie it seems I couldnt find a AFK trigger to log tells that really put the damn
tells in a log file to read later. This is a simple verision of what I am using
now.

#TRIGGER {(%w) tells you '(*)'} {#gag 1;#sh %crlf %1 : ~'%2~';#if (@logtells = 1) {#FILE 1 tellslog.txt;#WRI 1 {%1 tells: ~'%2~'%time};te %1 Your Tell has been logged...AFK;tog afk};#color 15;#capture 1 Tells "chatlog"
#ALIAS {#say -=-=-=-= Logging tells to tellslog.txt =-=-=-=-;#var logtells 1}
#ALIAS {#say -=-=-=-= Logging tells OFF =-=-=-=-;#var logtells 0}

Be aware that this uses a class lots of ppl use here since the "chatlog" zmud
scripts (logging tells etc to a window) have been well used and distributed.
So it may add another tells trigger to your chatlog class, if you dont have one it will create it I think. *cross*

To view the log just open the zmud editor and open the file tellslog.txt

Go afk today!

#TRIGGER {(*) tells you '(*)'} {#win tell %time(( h.mm AM/PM)) %1 : '%2';}

<edit> *looks at post again* Okay, he's already got the 'time' covered. Well, this still might be useful, so I'll leave it here</edit>

The above adds the tell to a window for times when you might be afk for a minute at a time, and don't care to open a file. Combining this with Bimble's would cover the possibility for overflowing the window buffer.
