Err... other topic got messed up

Postby Sarvis » Thu Feb 01, 2001 12:07 am

For some reason the Tinyfuge macros topic doesn't seem to have anything in it. I only get a blank screen when I load it and I had someone else load it too and they said the same thing. Bleh... I wanted those scripts! *pout*

Err... so the actual question I guess is, what's wrong?

Actually they are there, but hidden now. I did a View Page Source in Netscape and you can see all the macros stuff. It's probably some text in them that screws with the UBB board.

Rut roh.

I wonder if the scripting confuses the UBB board and makes it think it's UBB syntax or something...I'll try and fix it.

Could also be a netscape thing, or a unix thing. I can view it at home using Internet Explorer 4.0, but not at school using whatever version of Netscape they give us... heh. Unfortunately I wanted those triggers for school... but can prolly copy the file from here and ftp it over. Thanks :)

Shev, it is a Unix thing. I can view it easily in windows, but draw a blank in linux...

speaking of the codes, is there any way to transport them into tinyfuge withought having to cut and paste/type each line?

I can paste the whole thing in with gnome-term, but I get a slew of error messages...

would be nice if I could just dump the code into a file, rather than inputing it at the front end.

Weird, I don't see it in Windows - must be a Nutscrape thing.

Why I still use this browser is beyond comprehension. It's hard to claim rebel status for a product owned by AOL/Time Warner.

Sigh. Mozilla ahoy!
