Connecting Around a Firewall/Tunneling etc.
Tried to connect via port 80. Zmud tells me I am connected, but cant seem to get to the terminal screen. Any thoughts?
I just got in touch with IS. I am told that we are curently undergoing a server migration and that no new ports will be opened until they resolve the existing issues. Is it common for network admins to open ports after bugs are worked out? Isnt 9999 a pretty common port? Just askin since i am a network/firewall neophyte.

<a href="http://www.nocrew.org/software/httptunnel.html">Http Tunnel</a> will allow you to do it. It is really slow, and you need the server set up somewhere on the outside to use it. Of course, the firewall is there for a reason, and they can still packet sniff to tell what your doing. So if you get fired, don't blame me.

Tried a whole bunch of ports. 80 was the only one that "seemed" to connect. It connects to host right away, but then I never get the prompt/into page.
