It has been one of the highest honors and privileges of my life to have served the people of Illinois in the United States Senate," Obama said in a statement today.
"In a state that represents the crossroads of a nation, I have met so many men and women who’ve taken different journeys, but hold common hopes for their children’s future," Obama said. "It is these Illinois families and their stories that will stay with me as I leave the United States Senate and begin the hard task of fulfilling the simple hopes and common dreams of all Americans as our nation’s next President.

Duh, Corth. DIDN'T YOU KNOW A BLACK PRESIDENT MUST BE FOLLOWED AROUND BECAUSE IT'S A HISTORICAL MOMENT IN THE HISTORY OF HISTORY! I swear if the news doesn't get off his nuts quickly, I'm going to start regreting my vote. The constant coverage of the election was one thing, but this fixation on his first visit to the white house, his necessary and expected senate resignation, his fucking puppy choice -- it is all too much. I hate white guilt almost as much as I hate teflor.

Actually, yeah. Blagojevich has a pretty tough decision to make right now. Go with Jesse Jackson Jr and maintain the racial balance in the Senate (1/100 AA)? Pick Duckworth, who Durbin is apparently in love with? Put himself up?
Also, I was hoping to disappoint some people with the trap title.

sadly as someone who lives in illinois...
blow-jo will probably appoint a former comptroller named Roland Burris. Which will not upset the racial %, just lower the iq of the whole state.
or at least thats what mr. burris announced in my local newspaper... since he is from the same town i live in....
