So, can anyone who's seen it guess what I took away from the movie?


Spoilers after the image for those who haven't seen it:




Well, I was going to quote the script but I can't find it. The short, "heartwrenching" version is that Wolvie's love interest is named Kayla. Oh, and just to drive it home for me a little MORE they made Kayla a schoolteacher (my Kayla wants to teach kindergarten) and has dark hair like my Kayla. Oh, and I'm guessing Kayla is an alias for the movie Kayla... not sure though.

Then, just to make me remember Kayla even more... Kayla comes back to life to tell Wolverine that seducing him was her job. Dammit Hollywood, are you spying on me! When did my life become a hackneyed script for mutant agitation!

Oh... and of course, just to keep my fading feelings alive a bit longer they have to reveal that Kayla really did love me... err... Logan. Well, right before they kill her anyway... *sigh*



Oh, and really... we need some discussion going on around here. I hadn't meant to bring my whiny personal life back up again, but there hasn't been anything going on here in like a week now. WTF?

Actually, I think I do have a very slight resistance to cuts. I've never gotten a papercut, for instance. :P

Actually, you know what's sad? I met up with a guy from work and one of his friends, let's call him Joe, last night. At one point some girls walked past and I just said "Hi" to one of them... at which point Joe decides I'm a master pick-up-artist because I actually managed to talk to a girl.

I had actually talked to another girl earlier, but her friends came up and interrupted us and she stopped paying any attention to me so I figured she wasn't interested. Later though she saw me on the way out and grabbed my arm to say goodnight and it was nice meeting me, so maybe I misread that...

I got a papercut on my eye recently. That sucked!

So how long is it reasonable to miss a girl before you can just be declared insane? At this point, she's been gone longer than I actually knew her for... but at one point tonight, I looked so sad while thinking about Kayla that a couple girls asked me if I was alright.
