18 inches of global warming

Postby Ragorn » Wed Jul 07, 2010 1:40 pm

Rofl, remember back in February all those jokes about the eastern seaboard being buried under 18 inches of global warming? Lololol... good times, good times. It snowed a lot, and so remember how the media right laughed and laughed at poor Al Gore and how stupid he was when it was CLEARLY very cold outside?

Hahahah... yeah... those were the days *wipes away a tear*

Five months ago, I shoveled 30 inches of snow out of my parking space. Today, the high is set to be 105 degrees, which will be the highest recorded temperature in the region in over 30 years. Yesterday it was 101. On Sunday, it was 98.

All I'm saying is... fuck weather :)

Also, remember there's a difference between weather and climate.

The surface of the globe is definitely warming. But it has been much warmer before. That's the truth in science.

I think a lot of people noticed the effect of global warming during the winter olympics.

Even though it also was an extremly cold winter in europe I noticed that Canada had a lot of unexpected warm weather at that point.

we had a tornado in montana, definitely global warming. course we had one 50 years ago too, must've also been due to yet undiscovered global warming. Next we'll have a hurricane hit NYC and that also will be global warming. Africa used to be a paradise thousands or millions of years ago, that was also global warming.

climate has changed throughout the ages, thats the truth.
