Science in charge in California too

Postby kiryan » Fri Oct 08, 2010 9:29 pm

its amazing, the liberals are always talking about letting science rule the day, but they keep fudging the numbers. Its no wonder you want to quell any dissent any criticism of your "science" and call anyone who disagrees a "denier". California scientists had to lie by 350% to create enough of a scare to pass air quality regulations that were used as part of a basis to force the EPA to adopt more stringent regulations. They lied about healthcare, they lied about stimulus spending, they lied about ending the wars closing guantanmo.

You guys are bigger liars than bush. At least bush didn't try and defend himself by saying its science.

California grossly miscalculated pollution levels in a scientific analysis used to toughen the state's clean-air standards, and scientists have spent the past several months revising data and planning a significant weakening of the landmark regulation, The Chronicle has found.

The pollution estimate in question was too high - by 340 percent, according to the California Air Resources Board, the state agency charged with researching and adopting air quality standards

Mary Nichols, chairwoman of the California Air Resources Board, offered no explanation when The Chronicle questioned her about the diesel emissions miscalculation. She was recently asked why the air board estimate of a nitrous oxide source was off by at least a factor of two - air board scientists have since revised their numbers, and data show the estimate was off by 340 percent. Nichols' response: "I can't answer that for you."

Nichols was emphatic, though, when asked whether she has concerns about other scientific calculations made by air board scientists.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no and no," she said.

I think we should set up some faith-based pollution initiatives. We can establish some mosques in the area and post some excerpts from the Qur'an outside the state senate building. Then we'll get some of their clergy set up with cushy tax-free government grants to provide "community services." That should solve the problem.

Right, Georgey?

Faked credentials.

9,000 imaginary deaths.

772,000,000 gallons of diesel fuel never burned.

Oh, and by the way, the globe is warming due directly to human production of carbon dioxide.
