Gurns is fading away.

Hello. I have very sad news to convey. Gurns, who was Jergal while I was Auril, has an inoperable and cancerous brain tumour and will not recover.
He is currently as good as he can be under the circumstances, but there are significant personality shifts and visual troubles. His wife has a lot of support for now and as long as insurance agrees, he is in a safe place to finish his story.
In a few weeks or maybe months, I will lose the rest of one of my closest friends.

I am so very sorry to hear this news. Gurns is a very good friend to me throughout many years here we shared so much. My heart goes out to him and his family.

Damn, Gurns is a huge part of my memories here. He's one of those players that keeps you logging in to see. He'll be missed but I'll never forget him. :(

So sad :( I did now know he was Jergal, makes sense tho
Such a hard time for family and friends, you don't want them to suffer but you also do not want to lose them :(
