If we brought the political talk back to General Discussion we could probably scare them away.. :)

iirc, shev disabled the anti-spam registration measures because i couldnt' create my account because the server wouldnt' create the captcha image. if you install the packages necessary to create captcha images, you can turn that feature back on.... this is a simple server administration fix

I noticed the spammers don't seem to hit the politics forum. I'm guessing the spam is automated. Is it possible it just looks for something like 'general discussion' to post it's spam? If so then could we just rename it to something else perhaps?

Something like 'Shev doesn't check in enough to prevent spammers...' would be a start for a title

I'm guessing even the spambots know better than to argue with Kiryan and Sarvis :)
