Interesting article - bone marrow baby 20 years later

http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/43265160/ ... good_news/

I remember when this was happening some 20 years ago. A 16 year old girl needed a bone marrow transplant, and in the absence of a suitable donor the parents conceived a baby hoping that it would be a match. Despite low odds, the baby was a perfect match, and now 20 years later both sisters are interviewed.
Having said all that, the situation has been handled, so this thread is pretty much at an end. -Kossuth

It's a good reminder that not everything needs to follow all the rules to end well.

But there are plenty of stories in which people don't follow wisdom or guidance and things do indeed end in disaster.

It's nice that things have turned out well for this family.
