weightless bag in bag bug? (possibly)

Has anyone else noticed this? I put a bag in some robes, and put the robes in another bag, and now I can find neither the first bag nor the robes! :(

And I never got a message about being over the item number memory limit.

i know of someone else this happened to recently.

hrm, I have never noticed this.
then again, I tend not to put too many bags inside other bags and then inside others and so on.
I'll keep an eye on it though, now that some reports of suspected bag losses have been tossed about.

ye can have done the same thing as i did a coup a weeks ago when i lost half my stuff... there might have been a bag on the floor in the room ye did this manouvre *comf*

Use unique keywords, almost every popular bag has one,
gut,
tricks,
holding,
silvery,
tinkers,
etc...

I use an alias "pab" to put all gut to put things away, makes it much
easier and I havent ever stuck it in the wrong bag.

Personally, I think you shouldnt be able to put things in items without holding them, specifically to solve this problem (not in the guise of realism).

There is no known bug with weightless bags, no. I agree tha tit's most likely that you accidentally put the stuff in a bag on the ground - which is another issue we're looking into.

If you really feel that what happened to you was a bug, talk to an administrator online.

Thanks for the response! I've since spoken with Shar about it. We ultimately agreed that's likely what happened.
