I'm sorta bewildered why ppl congratulate you after you raise a level.

Is getting a level such hard work that it deserves a congratulatory handshake or pat on the back? C'mon ppl I mean..u sitting there in the comfort of your home..vegitating for hours in front of the computer..with the fridge prolly arm's distance away..and with the TV on in the background for your viewing pleasure.

Maybe I'm old school where congratulation is in order after you actually work for it. eg. epic eq/spell quest that takes months to complete or something above & beyond normal (Lilithelle's stroll in manscorp..jeesus 20hrs!!?? that's damn determination)

Yeah its a nice thing to say...but its thrown around so much..it gets waterdowned and becomes just a formality.

Your thoughts?

I really appreciate the sentiment. I worked damn hard and spent a hell of a lot of time coming to the conclusion that I simply don't care. Thanks again!

That would have been much more effective had you picked code that I've actually agreed to implement. :)

It's positive reinforcement to keep you playing even after you realize the level you just spent 7 hours getting only yielded you 6 hit points and no new spells or skills :)
