assoc chat

why have a level restriction on it? so i make a new char and i can't use this wonderful feature until level 20? that's kinda lame if u ask me. granted 20 levels doesnt take very long but its the simple point.

Asked about this earlier... because the char effectively joins the assoc to chat with it, and the code prevents ppl from joining an assoc until lvl 20.

It's also wierd that you can't do assoc info # before 20. Shouldn't we be able to find out about associations before 20?

what's wrong with giving access to assoc to all, but restricting membership (title'ing)? OR just slapping around those guilds that guild people that are too low level (and no code based restrictions)

Assoc Info should certainly work < 20th level, but assoc chat is designed that way on purpose.

I'm trying really hard not to flame you for that noninformative message, Shevarash. I, and at least a few others, do not share your high level vision of the future of soj3. We fail to see any purpose or reason for excluding low level alts from acc.

Your message reads to me as "Because I said so :p", and that just makes me want to flame. Could you elaborate on what the purpose is for the dunderheads who can't grasp it on their own?

PS assoc list, assoc help, and assoc ? should also work < 20, but none of them do.

Take the 3 hours and level the character to 20. Not difficult....

actually vahok im goin on 10hrs and my battlechanter is only level 17. 10hours without assoc chat!

it's impossible for an elf to get 20 in 3 hours
It will be fixed in Toril 2.0.
Aremat group-says 'tanks i highly suggest investing 20 silver in training weapons from cm to cut down on the losing scales to shield'

Playing an elf is like taking a vacation where all the natives are dropded sekseh, and magically fitting into that perfect swimsuit and knowing you look damned good in it.
